It is not too long ago that the portrait drawing was auctioned off for a few thousand dollars – as an untitled piece of art from the 19th century. Lightning struck when Leonardo expert Martin Kemp attributed La Bella Principessa to Leonardo da Vinci, which resulted in an outrageous hike in value and shook up the entire art world.
